Students have collected their AS and A Level results this morning from HSFC.

Ms Cliffman, head of Hucknall Sixth Form Centre, said, “This years Year 13 students have contended with two years of adversity and disruption. Their dedication to their studies and in supporting each other as a learning community throughout this time has been incredible and heart-warming.  It is testament to these talented students that they have been able to achieve such good grades and will now move on to the next exciting phase in their lives.” 

There have been a number of notable successes from individuals – top performing student at the academy was Angela Boakye, achieving a hugely impressive set of results with four A* grades (Biology, Chemistry, EPQ and maths).

Other great individual successes include Thomas Palin who achieved A*, A*, A*, A; Abby Stafford A*, A*, A*, B and Eden Burch A, A, A, A.

90% of students who applied for university have achieved places at their first choice institutions and over 20% of students will be progressing to study at Russell Group Universities.
