We empower. We respect. We care.

The sixth form provision is good. This is because post-16 teaching is now consistently good. Students progress well in their studies. They go on to well-planned next steps when they leave school.

Our distinct Christian ethos

Inspired by Luke 10: 29-37 we give our all to all in appreciation to God who gave his all in Jesus, offering learning without boundaries and care without limits so that all our students can experience ‘life in all its fullness’.

At Queen Elizabeth’s, we encourage all our stakeholders to be inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan and to be the very best versions of themselves that they can be. We give our all to all every day. We develop students with values, knowledge, skills and qualities to enable success in all aspects of their lives. We celebrate resilience, perseverance and dedication, as our students flourish in our inclusive Christian environment. Our students understand that with hard work and focus, they can achieve anything. We support students to set high expectations and aspirations, work hard through difficult times and situations, and to learn from mistakes and keep improving. We expect students to support each other and celebrate success together.

Collective worship and religious education

Collective worship and religious education form an integral part of our tutor and enrichment programme. So that collective worship is inclusive, it is led by students, staff, chaplains and visitors throughout the year.

Queen Elizabeth’s Academy sixth form students

All sixth form students on our roll have a personal tutor from the Diverse Academies Trust to support the transition into year 12. Alongside enrichment at HSFC, students can take advantage of student leadership opportunities at main school.

Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development

Spiritual, moral, social and cultural development (SMSC) is embedded throughout the curriculum and wider aspects of sixth form life.
