At the back end of last week, a group of fourteen year 12 students visited the University of Nottingham to take part in a NextGenLeaders event.

NextGenLeaders is a social action leadership project which is part of the nationwide Enactus programme. The students focused on developing schemes including tackling social isolation in the elderly, holiday hunger for children in need and hygiene poverty.

Over the next few months students will work on these projects with support from Enactus, learning new skills, working with their peers and developing knowledge of key social issues.
