This week we have taken a number of our year 12 students on an aspirational visit to Oxford University. They enjoyed a full day of activities including attending an information session on how to apply to Oxbridge, with the talented students enjoying lectures from leading academics on chemistry and law.
The day also included tours of Magdalen College, Brasenose College and Hertford College. We were delighted to also meet with Hucknall Sixth Form Centre alumni George Newton, who gave us a tour of some of the key landmarks in Oxford including his own college.
The day has inspired the students to consider applying to Oxbridge. We would like to thank the university team for their hospitality and say a huge thankyou to George too.
